Photography... the art of painting with light
I've been an enthusiastic portrait photographer from a young age since getting my very first camera. During my art degree I loved experimenting with black & white photography spending days on end developing prints in the darkroom. After a career in London as a 3D computer animator and a photography course at the London College of Communication my focus turned full time to my lifelong love of photography.
Tailor-made portrait photography
Every family is different so naturally each one of my shoots is a unique custom experience to tell the story of "A Day In The Life" of your family. I invest my time with you and my shoot style is relaxed, fun & spontaneous to help create natural looking portrait photos showing the real you. I will often stand back to observe and capture children just the way they are that day... Happy or shy, noisy or thoughtful, playful or asleep. As a female photographer I feel I'm able to work intuitively & sensitively to the needs of my subject. I feel it's a privilege to be invited into your homes or to share your favourite location as a backdrop which is personal to you & who you are. I take advantage of working with the available daylight to keep your portraits natural looking and to help remain as unobtrusive as possible.
Natural, relaxed, modern portraits
Children are such inspiring subjects to photograph as they grow up and change so quickly from tiny newborns to toddlers and then to adventurous princesses and pirates exploring everything around them and living in the moment. It's very rewarding for me to be able to capture real memories of childhood and family life in timeless images for you to treasure and be proud to display around your home.
I hope the quality of my portraits reflect my excitement and passion for what I do.
